Fees

AppAcquire charges a flat 3% closing fee, split equally between buyer and seller (1.5% each). Escrow.com adds its own fee on top. All fees are paid at closing through escrow. Listing is free, and you pay nothing if a sale does not complete.

All-in closing fee

3% AppAcquire fee on every deal, plus Escrow.com fees on top. Both are split 50/50 between buyer and seller.

How fees work

  • AppAcquire closing fee: flat 3% of the deal, split 50/50 (1.5% buyer, 1.5% seller). The buyer’s share is added on top; the seller’s comes out of the proceeds.
  • Escrow.com fee: added on top, also split 50/50 between buyer and seller. It has a minimum for each band, and deals over $10,000,000 are quoted by Escrow.com.
  • All-in closing fee = 3% AppAcquire + Escrow.com (between 3.7% and 5.6% in total, depending on deal size).
  • Everything is included in the escrow transaction and paid at closing. Escrow.com can add charges for some payment methods, such as an international wire; it shows these before you pay.

Examples assume payment by bank wire in US dollars. See how escrow and closing work, or the Escrow.com fee calculator.
