New: List Your iOS and Android App as One Listing
By AppAcquire · 16 October 2026 · 5 min read
Most successful apps are not on one store. They are on the App Store and Google Play, and the buyer wants both. Until now, a seller had to pick one store link, and the other platform became a footnote in the description. You can now list the same app on several platforms as a single listing, with one price and every version shown.
Key takeaways
- One listing can now hold the same app on iOS and Android (or several stores), sold together for one price.
- Each version has its own store link, icon, downloads and revenue, and buyers see them side by side.
- Each version can verify on its own: App Store Connect for iOS, Play Console for Android, plus RevenueCat, Stripe or TrustMRR for the whole listing.
- The listing shows combined monthly revenue across both platforms, and the multiple is worked out against that total.
Why it matters
A cross-platform app is one business with two storefronts. The codebase is often shared, the users are the same audience, and the revenue only makes sense added together. Listing just the iOS version undersells the business, and listing the two versions separately invites a buyer to take the better half. A single listing presents it the way a buyer will value it.
What buyers see
- A platform badge on the listing card, such as "2 platforms", and iOS + Android in the listing's summary.
- Every version listed with its icon, name, store link and its own downloads and revenue.
- Combined revenue per month, labelled "Verified for every app" when each version has a connected source, or "Includes seller-reported figures" when some do not.
- A revenue multiple against the combined total, so the asking price is compared with what the whole business earns.
How to list it
- Start a listing and paste the store link of your main version.
- At Is this more than one app?, choose Same app on several platforms.
- Paste the other store link. We look it up and fill in the name and icon for you.
- Add that version's downloads and revenue, or connect its own source: App Store Connect for an iOS version, Play Console for an Android one.
- Set one asking price for everything and submit. Already live? Add the other platform from Edit listing; changes to included apps go to us for a quick review.
How verification works with two platforms
The Verified badge needs the same four things as any listing: a seller account, proof of ownership, a public store link and a connected source. With several versions, every version must have a public store link, and a connected source can belong to any of them. Each figure is marked with where it came from, so buyers can see exactly which numbers are verified.
Selling both: the transfer
Apple and Google transfer apps separately, so a cross-platform sale is two store transfers plus the shared pieces: backend, domains, analytics and subscription tools such as RevenueCat. Our transfer guide covers both stores. Agree the order with the buyer up front, and keep the versions in sync until both have moved.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this different from a portfolio?
- Yes. "Same app on several platforms" is one product on different stores. A portfolio is different apps sold together. Buyers see them labelled differently, and both are a single listing with one price.
- How many platforms can I add?
- Up to ten store listings in total, so the iOS and Android versions of an app, plus versions on other stores, fit easily.
- Do I need to verify both versions?
- No, but it helps. A listing is Verified with one connected source, and a version without its own source shows its figures as seller-reported. When every version is verified, the combined revenue says so.
- Can I add the Android version to a listing that is already live?
- Yes. Open your listing, choose Edit listing and add the other store link. Changes to included apps are reviewed before they go live.
- Can a buyer buy just one version?
- The listing is sold as one deal for one price. If you would sell the versions separately, list them separately instead.
