Buyer requests and alerts
A buyer request is a private brief for the apps you want to buy: budget, platforms, categories and the numbers you need. AppAcquire matches it against every live listing, shows the matches in your dashboard, and emails you when new ones are approved. Requests are free.
Buyer requests and saved searches
A saved search becomes a full buyer request when you add more detail to it.

How each field is matched
Matching uses each listing's store links, the seller's figures and any connected source. Connected sources always win over seller-reported figures.
| Field | Checked against | When the listing doesn't say |
|---|---|---|
| Platforms | App Store and Google Play links | Not matched |
| Categories | Listing category and store genre | Not matched |
| Budget | Asking price | "Make an offer" listings are included |
| Revenue | RevenueCat, Stripe, TrustMRR, App Store Connect or AdMob, then seller-reported monthly or annual revenue | Possible match |
| Pre-revenue OK | Listings earning $0 a month | Not applicable |
| Verified revenue only | A connected revenue source | Not matched |
| Minimum profit | Seller-reported monthly profit | Possible match |
| How it earns | What the seller ticked, plus connected sources (AdMob means ads, subscription revenue means subscriptions) | Possible match |
| AI-powered | The seller's answer, then the listing description | Possible match |
| Minimum downloads | Store and console figures, then the seller's number | Possible match |
| Max revenue multiple | Asking price ÷ yearly revenue | Skipped for listings with no revenue |
| Single apps or bundles | One app, one app on both stores, or a portfolio | Not applicable |
Strong and possible matches
- Strong: the listing confirms everything you asked for.
- Possible: everything the listing shows fits, but one or more things you asked for aren't stated. The card lists what's missing, such as "Profit not stated".
- Every match shows the reasons it fits. Within each group, verified figures and fuller listings come first.
- Private listings are matched on their public teaser only: category, platform, price and verified revenue.
Alerts
- A listing is only emailed once per request, even if you edit the request.
- Choose Strong matches only to leave possible matches out of emails.
- The unsubscribe link in an alert turns off that request's alerts only.
| Setting | When it sends |
|---|---|
| Instant | When a matching listing is approved |
| Daily | Once a day, only when there are new matches |
| Weekly | Mondays, only when there are new matches |
| Off | Never. Matches still show in your dashboard |
Manage a request
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Edit | Changes apply to matches straight away. Listings already emailed aren't sent again. |
| Pause / Resume | Pausing stops alerts and keeps the request in your dashboard. |
| I've acquired an app | Closes the request and stops its alerts. |
| Delete | Removes it from your dashboard and stops its alerts. Deleting your account erases all your requests. |
Privacy
- Only you and the AppAcquire team can see your requests. Sellers and other buyers can't.
- We may contact you about apps that fit, and we may tell a seller that a buyer is interested without saying who. We never share your identity with a seller without asking you.
- Your requests are never made public without your explicit consent.
Troubleshooting
Why does my request have no matches?
Usually the budget, revenue floor or "verified revenue only" is narrower than what is listed. Loosen the last thing you changed, or keep the request: our team works on requests the marketplace can't fill yet.
Why was I sent a listing that doesn't state profit?
It's a possible match: it fits everything it shows. Choose **Strong matches only** to stop these in emails.
Why didn't I get an alert for a new listing?
Check the request is active, not paused, and alerts aren't off. Daily alerts go out once a day and weekly ones on Mondays. If an email doesn't arrive, check spam for listings@appacquire.com; your matches are always in [your dashboard](/account/buyer-requests).
A game shows under Entertainment. Will my Games request find it?
Yes. Categories are matched on the listing's store genre as well as the category the seller chose.
